Highlights of my greatest achievement have been captured on video! Even though its long its missing some legs and all night footage, but it has some stacks and shows just how much the team helped me through. I couldn’t be prouder of us and the effort we put in to cover 116km in 36hrs.

GeoQuest 2016
Saturday morning started very early at 4:30am. We packed the car while Matto made us bacon and egg rolls. These mostly just got held and nibbled at with us all too nervous to eat. Our support team Lani, Pete and Tyla drove us to the start and helped us get Kayaks ready and ran through …
One Week
Team Meeting = check Packed = check Nervous = check With today being one week till the race I’ve spent it packing and running around collecting the last little bits and pieces (ice packs, bike parts, small dry bags and wool socks). Sydney is expecting 200ml of rain this weekend so it’s miserable outside, but …
Night Rides
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure we’ve ever been on, and this is the part I love the most. As we ride our bikes in the dark and pouring rain I laugh hysterically. This is my favourite part, getting to do the things normal people wouldn’t do. The places we go and …

The Right Direction
“Direction is so much more important than speed, many are going nowhere fast” – Unknown Being sick sucks. I’m so mentally ready to be out there training and pushing myself but I so need to focus on getting better. While I’m taking it easy I’ve decided to still be productive and stop procrastinating. It’s 15weeks …

GeoUpdate
WELL what can I say – its been a big few weeks! Training was going well with two 20km rides in a weekend. Day two was hard, I was stiff and tired but after the first few kms I warmed up and it got easier, endorphins kicked in and I’m back to feeling invincible. We …
